Apparently you did not read it very carefully. My suggestion is to read it again to see what really happened.

What the voice mail should have said is this. "It's always a pleasure to know we are getting rid of a douche bag customer like yourself. I'm sure you constantly call our customer service to complain about the dumbest things, and demand we add a cell tower in your area immediately. Also, why the hell are you e-mailing us to tell us about our new data plans? If you don't like them, keep the current one. Did I already mention you're a douche bag?"

It's employees like you that make people want to leave ATT!!! Blaming customers is something Sprint did, and it took them well over 3yrs to even star to recover.

AT&T needs better employees than you, and a better CEO also, one that isn't so obsessed with ONE handset that they get left behind.

I'm not an employee anymore. I moved on to different things. Even though I believed the same way as an employee, I never treated a customer bad. Think about it though, why the hell would this customer complain about the new data plans? At&t said that if you want to keep your existing data plan you could. What kind of lousy person complains about customer care by referencing how little or much money they make?

I get what your saying about the referencing the reps pay, that wasn't necessary.

And congratulations for moving on to another kind of job. I've been working security for a way long time and it's an extremely boring job with no co-workers, not very engaging, anyway after I finish paying off my credit card. I want to concentrate on getting into some other line of work.

From this, it just seems that the AT&T incompetence and unwillingness to help resolve the common customer issues starts at the very top and so Cust Care is not alone in the picture here, their CEO is a total douche with his head soo far down his arse, it's not funny.

In my particular case, AT&T wasn't going to help me with my legitimate phone device issues, albeit within the Warranty period too. God forbid Randy boy here and his army of $12/hr Executive Team of College Students would have threatened ME like this! Not only woul...

Not only would I have switched, I would have sued them and FWIW, it probably would have gone to the Class Action Suit level.

Good for that Customer that he switched to Sprint for the

i dont know whats more funny, the fact that your standing up for something that doesnt make a bit of a difference or how long it took you to try and make catchy paranthasized notes

What's shameful is that you are standing up for a CEO.

Oh those evil CEO's with their jobs and profits and growing the economy. A wise man once said "a poor person never hired anyone". Name an industry that the unions have not ruined, steel, auto, education. if you don't make it profitable they will leave.

(repost but worth saying again)

of course this is an unfortuante incident, however it actually happened. but one must remember that this was just one representative of the company in an area for escalated calls. there are several people just like that, but for every one of them there hundreds that do care and do their work with integrity. i am an agent that has to call in daily and get the company to give sometimes hundreds of dollars back to customers who deserve it. and i am calling into the same phone number that you do. the rules for getting things done are simple:

always be nice

reasonably ask for what you want, knowing that it may be impossible or a compromise necessary.

if you are told no, appeal to logic and explain why y...
