Anybody wonder why ATT and Verizon prices practically the same?

Verizon was founded as Bell Atlantic Corporation by AT&T Corporation as one of seven Baby Bells that were formed due to an anti-trust judgement against them. 😲
Do your research find the truth.
Just a matter of time before they combine!!!
Bet on it. 😳

If they were originally seperated by the FTC in an anti-trust suit, why would the FTC allow them to recombine?

Their prices are the same to eliminate competition on price between them, so it is strictly about devices and service.

In all fairness if you do the research AT&T has been broken up by Sherman anti-trust laws no less than five times and each time one form of AT&T has been able to re-purchase all the other pieces it was broken in to.

In all fairness, the original post was weak and his two points are in no way related.

And please enlighten me as to when anti-trust suits broke up AT&T five separate times.

For shizzle, AshDizzle (sorry, couldn't help myself). I'd also like to know when AT&T was broken up 5 times.

It's called collusion, and it has nothing to do with an imminent merger.

"It's called collusion, and it has nothing to do with an imminent merger."

Exactly, and the AT&T/Cingular, Sprint/Nextel, and Verizon/Alltel mergers have all led to price plans that are worse today than before merger mania. Hopefully people will start to realize the value position of the $50 (give or take $10) unlimited plans in the prepaid world.
