For those that still need to be educated...
For those of you that still need to be educated on the AT&T MMS for the iPhone. Here are the facts. What below was part of a conversation that participated in the thread "I left sprint for this." I stated that my service here in Las Vegas, NV was not up to par as of yet, Due to another blogger saying he had no issues. I also stated that I did leave AT&T to Verizon but was very unhappy with the storm. Plus, I missed my iPhone and I love my 3g s. I then stated that AT&T promised MMS roll out late summer. WHERE IS IT?? This is the response I received.

I didn't bother reading your entire post. I did not click on any links. Here is the current state of affairs:
Apple held their conference, announced the 3.0 software that would allow 3g/3gs handsets to do mms. Apple announced this functionality and ATT was absent from the list of providers and frankly left apple with their pants around their legs at the wwdc. It is very hard to overlook apple's disdain for ATT for not supporting this at the outset. This is probably causing alot of stress for their relationship.
ATT and Apple are currently being sued in 2 different class action suits for a failure to provide mms (though they did say by the end of summer which could technically be toward the end of Sept). There are also other class actio...

What is the best selling phone of all those 77 carriers. iPhone. AT&T dropped the ball. Customer like myself feel like we are now at the short end of the stick. AT&T collects money from me and millions of others for messaging service that lacks the full capabilities. Yes, we accepted this on the first gen and second gen, but the 3g S having that capabilities and being told the network is not ready because we where not ready is not fair to the million that pay AT&T and keep all those employees happy and food on their table. So, MMS will be fixed when AT&T pulls off the MMS block codes on the account and replaces it with the correct code, which should be completed at the end of the summer, about the same time the 3.1 update comes out. Hope this helps.
