Dear AT&T...
I have had this happen on every single phone I've used on your network in the last four months and it is getting old fast.

I'm betting they're all 3G phones?
I hope you didn't bet too much, because they are all 2G phones. I am having problems just using the standard 2G for voice. Grrr.

Have you replaced your sim card?
Many many times.
I have switched phones, got new SIM cards, etc. As Verizon says...it's the network...

you have a SIM card that's going bad or you need to update your IMEI. Quick fix
Done both, still having problems with dead zones, etc. It's the network.

Unbelievable, you're nothing but a troll.

Wait a minute...you are calling me a troll because after all I HAVE done to try to get my service fixed (which, BY THE WAY, was fine until this year), I have concluded that AT&T's network in my area is degraded and not as good. for this, I am a troll? Wow...ONLY on phonescoop.com...
On that note though... you don't really want to call a poster out as a troll just because they say something negative, especially a customer who's posted positively in the ATT forums before, and negatively in Verizon's.

Why is it that when I try to call someone back I get the "Call failed" message on my phone? I try and try to make a call and I get the same message for about a minute and then it finally rings through?

Well sooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeee! Did I offend you by coming on here and posting all my troubles in the world?!
Or called 611 to have them file one?

If you have tried all the quick little fixes, have you gone into your local store and filed a trouble ticket?

Yes, I have exhausted every option I have, all except paying the ETFs and leaving.

Seriously, what's your ETF? pay that, then go to verizon so you can have their service for a few months then complain about them too.
ha ha, very funny.

Don't bother telling this to her. She barely knows how to use her phone.
People like you are the reason why AT&T doesn't rank number one in customer service.

🤣 I think is people like you who are taking the time to take those surveys to ensure that AT&T gets the worst results possible.
Most of my friens are on AT&T and they are very satisfied with AT&T (3G or 2G) here in FL, MA, CA and WI, so it's not a Florida thing. There's only one thing that they complain, and that is price. I can understand that.
"You mean I have to pay for a blackberry?!!? I HAVE A FREE UPGRADE."
Customer takes free phone and gets surveryed. 0 out of 1.
"What do you mean you can't get into the account without (account holder) being here?!?! I WANT TO UPGRADE NOW. I PAY THE BILL!!!"
We go out of our way to get in touch with the account holder, verify the screamer in our store is authorized and then get them the new phone.
Customery surveryed. 0 out of 2.
Yep, we have terrible customer service.
Actually, we just have terrible customers with unrealistic demands.

Each time you put your sim into a new phone you need to call customer service and update the IMEI. When you power cycle the phone, you're sent updates from network, if you're receiving updates for a Motorola but you're using a Samsung, that causes problems. So if you haven't already done so, make sure they have the right phone info for you.
I do call in to update my IMEI when I switch phones.
