If the DOJ and FCC give approval for the VZW/Alltel/AT&T transaction to move forward to a close date I hope to maintain my job and transfer over to AT&T. I have 20 years invested in the wireless industry and am in the Operations Group, middle management.
Having been through a number of industry changes over the years I feel that I have a position of some type waiting for me. I would like to know how AT&T views their employs and how the overall job experiences is.
Thanks.

Put a headset on. Pick 5 people to yell at you for 8 hours. And stick you thumb up your butt. Look on the bright side. I don't plan to lose my job.

I'd say it really depends on what position you retain as the transition starts. If you do what your told to do, and do it well, you should be fine. Most middle to upper management I know at AT&T enjoys what they do. This is of course not including retail managers of COR locations. I hear alot of complaints from those people.

Oh, and welcome to AT&T!
