Advice on terminating contract early

getting out of a contract is usually quite difficult. even if he called and said he was being deployed, they would only put him on military suspend and it would not affect the contract. the only way i know of is if you move to an area that we dont offer service AT ALL.
i know, i know, its not what you want but, you did sign a contract.

Ebay and HoFo have great inexpensive phones, If the feedback is good no worries I bought an N82 AND an N95 from those sources and saved at least $300 each from retail.
You should be able to get out of a contract for moving into a marginal service area. DO NOT upgrade for subsidized phones. Buy you phones and stay month to month and you will never have this kind of problem.......

This is an ATT forum question asking how to get out of a contract.
I know that VZ does well in surveys about service, but who does those surveys anyway? How many people were actually asked about their service and how many responded?
I was never asked about it when i had VZ. No one i know has EVER been asked to do a survey about anything except work surveys.
As for the OP, I would just try customer service a couple more times. You never know what they might say. But be prepared to be...
