Someone asked me when we would be selling the N95, he is waiting to upgrade as soon as we get it. Looks like he'll be waiting a long time.

Screw giving ATT a contract!!! That customer should buy the N95 unlocked/unbranded, like I did.

Wireless carriers need to bud out of handset makers business! ! !

And lose all of that potential revenue they can get? Psssh ... I'm sure the stockholders would love to hear that.

I haven't been under contract for over 2.5yrs! And I'm sure there are a whole lot of other month-to-month owners of an UNLOCKED/UNBRANDED Nokia N95-3 out there a whole lot!

Screw stock holders CUSTOMERS rule! ! !

Next on the Wall Street Journal: AT&T stock drops 40% as investors pulled out due to an announcement that was not in favor of the stockholders. You can expect the company to begin liquidating capital assets or increase rate plans to cover thoses losses and debt created by the massiave volume of stock sales.

Or something along those lines. I dunno ... sounds realistic.

Sounds like bad forecasting to me. You could have gotten a $200 or so discount on a phone and still been out of a contract for 6 months.

All of this garbage about being "out of a contract" is useless, are you guys really going anywhere? I'm never switching so who cares about a contract? I get deals for days with my company and I just keep extending my contract.

Same here. The last contract I signed was for a new T637. I am guessing there are a ton of users paying month to month which screws up forecasting but hopefully will force ATT to give customers incentive with SERVICE not hardware.

$18 dollar per phone upgrade fees plus rebates,,,,ugh. And don't tell me I have to talk to a sales rep to get the fee waved. I don;t want to be sold a bunch of crap I don't need or want to inflate his bottom line.

Until there is a proper incentive...

Im siding with the "it will not be released" crowd unless the phone stays as it is. But then how can ATT subsidize a phone that can already be bought for $200+ less than retail unbranded and unlocked?

Probably even more than 150 million. Another thing I learned last night is the average person can't have an expensive feature packed phone because they'll just destroy it. I saw 4-5 phones hit the cement last night. That would be $500+ down the drain.

My N95-3 opinion is not 100% I'm sure you Nokia snobs will mock this comment but based on what you guys said and what I saw, it's a little overrated. Obviously it's a feature machine but the build, standard dial pad, thickness, colors, were just not that good. I also couldn't see myself using everything, so I will simplify and get a phone based on what I want, not just what has the most features. I think that's how most of America feels.

You are so irrational. I'm talking about the amount of colors or whatever. The screen, the sharpness, the definition. The N95's screen is average. I don't know your exact definition of those features.

I knew you would do this, blow up and start spewing, a qwerty keyboard on a curve is PERFECT, unless you have big fat hands that press 4 buttons at once.

The effing keyboard is for my e-mail, I care less about a qwerty keyboard for texts.

What's next? Another teenage girl blast? I obviously don't care what color my phone is, but I'd like to have a better display, better COLORS.

build quality is top notch, I have dropped my phone a few times and no issues, Try that with a Shiny beautiful Red Blackberry... quoting AvgJoe

Sorry AvgJoe but I have a Shiny beautiful Red Blackberry & it holds up to alot of abuse. I am not sure why you think the N95-3 you have is the 'end all of phones' but you obviously have never had a Blackberry or many other high-end phones for that matter. Until you have experienced more than one phone every 3 years you really do not have enough knowledge to be spouting off your opinion. Quit writing about the N95 you have. We have all heard enough and nooone really cares anymore.

Most of the time that I speak with a Nokia "Rep," they apparently have no clue what they are talking about-since I get disputing information from the at&t Rep. Nokia doesn't normally hire its own reps, they are 3rd party people who really don't have any communication with Nokia directly. The card haded to me had Nokia and CCS on it.

This doesnt make sense because it differs from the way Nokia is wanting to invest back into the US market. Not so sure how true this is, but I'm willing to bet that if AT&T said for Nokia to jump right now, Nokia would ask how high. Time will tell...

I for one am GLAD ATT is not getting this phone. Now those of us who have them will get firmware upgrades sooner.

Thats why I love Nokia They don't bow to the carriers with their flagship phones. Take em like we make em. They sold a ton of N95s and don't need ATT.

In fact their $700 phones can be bought for far less anyway,

Kudos to Nokia. for keeping the best, the best. ATT is not picking up the SE K series either. I guess SE doesn't want their flagship phones messed with either.

ATT is great for those who live from upgrade to upgrade. Keep putting that trash out there and charging a ton for data. I will keep my N05 and my $15 UL data plan thank you.

According to a friend at Nokia, the N-95 will not be sold by ATT, but you can order it direct from Nokia with ATT settings already in the phone. You can also get it from Tiger Direct for under 500.00

Probably quite a few have been sold since they came out with the N95-3 and N95-4's.
My bet is more Nokia N and E series phones are sold unlocked in the U.S. than all the other Nokia models combined that are locked U.S.network providers.

With a little practice you can get pretty quick with T9. No one phone is perfect in every way but the N95's fit the bill very well for the "all in one" carry device. Enjoy your N95-4.
P.S. Go to the Nseries site and check out all the applications you can put on the N95. You find so many uses and cool things you can do with this phone that your investment begins to look like a bargain.
