I don't know. But that was way too many question marks.

My guesses are that it will be sometime in March or April, and that the 2-year price will be $299.

I'm sure there are interested parties placing side-bets already.

yeah i think that's enough question marks.... yes cingular is scheduled to carry it, but from records, not until march, april, or may..

coming to ATTWS Feb 2, if you get it, it should be unlocked and you can use it with cingular

Yaeh, I was wondering about that...them being unlocked and all. I think the V400 I got from Cingular is unlocked. Is it some sort of Motorola policy now? Or?

No all world phones with CIngular are automatically unlocked so you can put a prepaid sim card in it while you are overseas and so forth..... the v300 for T-mobile is locked only to T-mobile, to use it somewhere else you possibly will have to get it unlocked...the v600 for ATT should i think be automatically unlocked, not sure though, will know in about 2 weeks though....

that's not exactly true. The V400, V60, and the 6100, were the only world phones that we had unlocked. The 3650, 6200, t616, t306, t316, t68i, 3100, and 3200 were all locked.

that's not true either.. i put a Vodafone sim card from overseas in a T616 and it worked fine, also a T-mobile sim in it, and it worked fine too.. Haven't tried the 3200 yet, but might do it soon. We didn't get the 3650 here we got the 3600 which isn't a world phone... i'll have to try the 3200 and see...

it all depends on what country the phone is being used in and what frequency the carrier uses (850/900/1800/1900)...a "world phone" just means it uses any of the 4 bands, as opposed to only 2 or 3 of them...as far as i know

i understand what distingushes a world phone, but the 3600 that we are offered is 850 / 1900 mhz. Which i know for sure is not a world phone. most world phones are Tri band, or quad band like the new v400 and v600 are..
