I'm an AT&T rep and I just have to say that the worst thing in the world is when a customer waits around and calls Insurance/Warranty in the store. We do not do the exchanges in the store. The people on the phone do not want to talk to us. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go home and call so it's not all awkward while we sit in silence as you make your claim. I can't stress that enough. Do any other reps get customers insisting that they call here in the store even though this has nothing to do with us?

Oh yeah all the time, and most of the time they through a fit and ask for a month's worth of credits because of the down time. I told them i'll let you borrow a old Nokia 6340I phone until your insurance phone comes in.

I don't really mind it either. Sometimes it can be annoying. But half the people that need to call mainly use our phone due to their cell phone that is not working is their only phone. So I let them call. Also has anyone been having a problem with the insurance and warranty department telling the customers they have to come to the store and do the exchange. I have gotton that a few times now and it makes me pretty annoyed cause than I look like im the bad person. 😕
