Thinking of switching to at&t from VZW.

I am strongly considering switching to at&t from VZW. I am not bashing VZW but here lately I am struggling with trying to use my phone at home, which is something I have never had problems with before. This problem is something that has started within the past two months, I do not know if it is the phone or the service but either way it is very frustrating. I take very good care of my phone so I don't think that is the problem. My wife has at&t and is able to use her phone at home, she has always been able to without any problems and she always seems to have service. So this one reason I am considering switching.

The main reason I am thinking about switching is due to something that VZW does not currently offer and that is Roll Over ...

if your problem only started two months ago you should really call verizon and tell them your problems, they will fix it. if you service has been good for years it seems like the least you can do is have your phone check out my a tech, and submit a trouble ticket...but maybe you don't want to really fix the problem, maybe roll over is more important to you if that is the case then good look with cingular.

Theres a reason Cingy gives you more rollover minutes. Can't use them. Fewest dropped calls cause you can't drop a call that can't be made in the first place!!!!!

People do this all the time. It's not like your breaking up with your gf/bf or something. You can try at&t out for 30 days if you like it great! If not go back to verizon or someone else that will work out for you.

I had a friend who had been with verizon for years and was having trouble making calls at his house so he switched to at&t and it works for him.

If you wife is on AT&T it would make better sense perhaps to switch. It would probably be more economical. And you always have 30 days if you're not completely satisified to go back to VZW.

I went to Verizon from Cingular last year. If you're a feature person, you'll wanna stay put. Reception wise, it varies on the area.

Of course! It is unbranded, buttons don't have those problems, it doesn't freeze from the plagued verizon UI, and best of all, its GSM.

I used to be against GSM, but my fiancee's calls started to drop frequently {we came from Verizon and now [obviously] use at&t}. At&t has definitely improved; well in Phoenix, anyway.

Unlocked Bluetooth file transfer {pics, vids, songs, contacts}, No crappy UI, can take it out of the country [if I ever go], etc.... The only down side is the internal memory, but isn't that what memory cards are for?
