Sick and tired of dropped calls

Whoever is in charge of 3G rollout in Northern NJ should have his a** kicked - the calls are getting dropped left and right, peak and off-peak.

Yesterday (Sunday) - had 5 bars, dropped twice in a 40 min phone conversation, several times voices became really garbled like a borderline drop. This is happening with both Moto and Samsung - so particular phone is out of question.

So, if I call 611 - what do I tell them? and what are they going to do? I don't need minutes credit, I need uninterrupted conversation!

But but but....you're using either a Samsung or Moto. Your problem is you dont have a real phone.

I think his point is that we get more complaints about garbled and dropped calls with samsung and motorola so until he tries every phone we sell he can't use his argument.

I get complaints about every LG phone that at&t has {especially the CG300 & CU 400}. The original V3 sucks, but I'm impressed by the v3xx.

Same thing in Southern New Jersey!! Atlantic City and other shore areas to be exact.

We have a dozen tickets open and employees have switched back to 2G phones until it's fixed...

I guess that's what I have to do too. Can you tell us when you expect the problem to be resolved?

Also, funny that you mention AC. In my case, situation is worse next to water (Jersey City). Coincidence?

No, the supplier for the 3G tech is Lucent along the jersey shore.

I don't know when it'll be fixed because Lucent doesn't feel it's a problem...

I started to submit a trouble ticket for every single problem I have.
