Delete "AT&T Wireless" on LCD?
sorry if this topic was covered somewhere. i couldn't find it. does anyone knnow of a crack or hack that would let me delete or change the "AT&T Wireless" text on my SE T616. i have been with AT&T for a long time, but i don't want to see their name every time i look at the phone.

yea, i cant find anythign on our systems for it. I cant imaging the at&t server having that information, but from what i've looked, we have nothing on that.

Sorry there is no way to delete that. It is called the alpha tag, and it is used to let you know whos service you are using. So that you will know if you are roaming or not.

Wrong. You can remove it.
1) Data cable + Software
2) OTA (Over-The-Air) ... certain websites will send a "logo" as an alpha tag which will always be present regardless of what carrier you are using.
Normally the alpha tag will auto-update itself based upon which carrier the phone is on (ie if you roam onto Fido the phone will display "Fido")...

correction there is a way to take off the att wireless off the lcd screen if you UNLOCK the gsm sony erriccson t616 it will give you the option to show the provider logo or not. i have a gsm samsung and it is unlocked meaning i can use it with any provider any sim card and it gives me the option of seeing attwireless there or not.... of course i dont want to see att wireless over my daughters face
