If Cingular were to merge with ATTWS or T-Mobile, how much down time if any, would require to make them work together?
And according to their coverage maps, they seem to cover the exact same areas. So it seems to me, that their coverge area really wouldn't increase at all if any. What do you think?

in the past when attws bought out a company the people from the new company felt little to no interuption in service. although the deal to take over was implemented it did take almost a year before aws customer care actually started talking to old suncom customers. although it isnt going to be a takeover, i imagine it will run along the same lines, although at care we may have to learn some new systems as i am sure we do not have the same systems and some of there systems may be better. so they will probably be looking over that and we may have to be retrained and what not, but on the customer side i doubt they will really feel anything, but will soon be able to choose from more plans and phones.

Thank you pumpkin for writing so soon. As for coverage, do you see it increasing or pretty much remaining same?
Is Cingular #2, Verizon #1, ATTWS #3, Nextel #4, Sprint #5 and T-Mobile #6 ?
If this is wrong, please that me in what order from the biggest to the smallest. Everytime I read mag they keep change who's second and then from there on who's last.
Thanks! 🙂
