Simple coverage question

Hello,

Please forgive me if someone asked this already but I can't seem to find an answer. I am hoping one of the awesome Cingular Deity's that frequent this forum will be able to tell me 🙂

Like everyone else by now I know about the upcoming merger of Cingular and ATT wireless. Based on the ads alone Cingular seems to be saying that existing customers will get more reception in more areas.

My question is, does anyone have some sort of map to show that? I would like to see exactly where in the country coverage will increase because of this merger.

Thank you very much for anything you can tell me about this.

Look at the GSM Nation map on Cingulars web site. That is what the coverage will look like as they had prior roaming agreements with ATT so the services were combined on their map prior to the merger.

Thanks for the answer.

I guess thats why the map looked a bit more filled in then I remember it last.

Would you know if the regional maps (for me, NYC area) also updated to show the merger?

Keep in mind that with the new smart roaming 64k SIM's the phones will be able to utilize (like my cool buisness term? ;)) the dual system alot better. the old phones don't roam properly between AWS and Cingular towers.
