E-Mailing attachments to a Nokia 6010

Is there anyway to e-mail attachments (i.e. - .mid, .bmp) to a Nokia 6010 on ATTWS? I'd like to update some ringers and backgrounds but am trying to avoid the download / MMS charges.

Don't you also get charged from receiving e-mails, especially with attachment?
I have just bought the Nokia 6010 with a pre-paid T-Mobile and really don't know if T-Mobile will charge me for downloading an e-mail with attachments.
