No I havent heard about the waterproof phone? Why will they ever released something like that? For swimmers? 🙂
I guess it will be for those rainy days when you talk outside or drop the phone in a puddle. Anyway, Can you explain what is a 325 type phone? I need a phone that has excellent RF and has multimedia functions and also can use your own custom mp3 ringtones, ala E815. Thanks again.

I don't know if you have heard but verizon has gone with putting a unified UI on all of its phones, so you will never see another Motorola UI on any verizon phone. That is why I said verizon killed Motorola. Anyways there are plenty of great verizon phones out there and many more coming down the pipe line. In my opinion the best phone in verizons current line up that will satisfy all your multimedia needs is the LG 8300, its an amazing phone and my favorite in ten years.

Here is a link to the waterproof phone

And you can look at the LG 8300 reviews right here

Look at the 8300. It's an LG, but it has all those things, plus really good RF.

Thanks for the Info. But, I heard that LG phones are crapola. There made cheap and their not very durable. I dont really care about the UI, I havent seen verizons UI yet. But, on the E815, it was ok. I read the 8300 reviews, I noticed verizon disabled mp3 support (I cant use mp3's for ringtones from the sd card, Ala E815) Basically the E815 was very easy to get around Verizons bull crap disabling everything. Can I still use my customs ringtones on the 8300. I spent countless hours creating ringtones and searching sound effects for my E815.
Dont get me wrong 8300 looks good. But, what do you guys thing about the SCH-A990?

Oh I forgot, LG8300 does not support picture messaging. Will they ever be a E815 killer? There are alot of phones out there that's very nice and can do some stuff well. But, Not one phone can do ALL the E815 can do.

LG phone are not crapola at all the 8300 is a very well built phone and will hold up to the test of time. You can email ringers(in mp3 format) to your phone at 10digitnumber@vzwpix.com and save as ringtones for contacts, etc...you enable the mp3 player by pressing "menu 000000", then go to "music setting" and choosing mp3 player on, this way you have both options of using the MP3 player/with graphics and equalizer, and the WMA player. As you seem to be aware the Motorola UI was easy to do plenty of seem edits to, this is not the case anymore with the verizon UI. I'm not hard core into tweaking my phone but if you pay a visit to howarforums.com you'll be surprised what the 8300 is capable of. If you are hard core and find the verizon UI to be...

Yes, you are helpful. I didnt know you can flash the attel moto UI onto it. Emailing the ringers to your phone was the way I did it for my E815, I have to remember "menu0000".Im not to experience with seem edits, I tried that with my Sch-n330 and I frucked it at first. So, I reflashed it back to its default seting.Anyway, People Like you is what makes this site so resourceful. You made my decision much easier, Thanks again.
