moto q and data usage plan
also, im eligible for my new every two soon, so with the price being 199 after instant 100 rebate, does that mean i can use my new everytwo to knock it down to 99?
You do not have to "purchase" a data plan but you must have a data feature on your account. You may purchase" 44.99 unlimited or 24.99 for 10 MB or choose not to "purchase" anything and all and data usage will be pay as you go at $0.015 a KB. If you are planning on using any data (and why would you buy a smart phone if you are not?), then getting one of the 2 features you are "forced to purchase" will more than pay for itself.
..and you are interpreting the new every 2 correctly.
Or... NE2 can be used if valid and 10 Megs or .015 kb pay as go feature can be added.
A Pix message using .015kb pay as go feature will ave 75-90 cents at ave file size 50-70 kb.

hope it does come out on the 30th cuz i wanna get it that day... 😁
The 10MB plan allows for the back and forth transfer of data (including picture messaging). A casual user (someone who logs onto the internet maybe once a week or doesn't load pages with a lot of graphics) would be fine with the package. I usually recommend to people that they start with the unlimited if they are going to be using data on the phone because most people (including myself), have no real feel for what 10MB would be. It is only 20.00 more...

If the REPS THEMSELVES can't even figure out what the customer is going to charged....
🤣
Just please remember this all of the Verizon reps on this board who love to berate their customers who call wanting to know why their bill is twice as high as they thought it would be.
There really is no reason the cell phone industry has to be as complicated as the tax code. But since it is, make sure you call three times if you have a customer service question and take the average of the responses you are given. And if a rep promises something too good to be true, make sure you get in writing so you have proof to make them waive the $ 175 fee when your plan turns out to be much more expensive than advertised.
