I would like to see them offer a service that goes beyond vz navigator. I want a gps phone for hiking where I could download certain maps and nav out a course. Like the ones nextel offers that can be used with sites like this.

If I am clueless and they have this please inform me.

What would everyone else like to see? 🙂

I know they would never do this because it wouldn't be cost-efficient, but I would to see phones of the same model offered in different colors.

used to phones were all easily made with interchangable faceplates. That took care of what color on the phone.

I'd like the GPS as well. I'm sure a few people would have issues with the idea of their phones giving out their locations (ie conspiracy theorists who'd believe the government would track them without their knowledge and such) but overall it'd be nice to have those features included in your service. I'd also like to see a compass on the phone as well. At least then you'd be able to know which direction you're headed.

I would add more minutes for the same money. For example offer 500 minutes for $39.99 just so they are just above Sprint and Cingular but also just below T-Mobile, the value leader when it comes to minutes and your money.

I would also maybe add free stuff on GIN. I know other carriers like T-Mobile give you free wallpapers or ringtones for the holidays and stuff like that. I don't know if Sprint and Cingular do that, but it would be nice to get a little perk like that.

I just thought of something else while going through the threads on this topic. For $5 we should get unlimited mobile web instead of it using our minutes like a call. I would even pay up to another dollar or two to get unlimited mobile web. I would use it all the time. As it stands, I don't currently have mobile web because I would have no minutes left for my regular calls.

I agree, i could care less about the vcast videos and all that crap, but unlimited mobile web is nice, but $15 dollars is a little steap for just the web.

I'd like to see an Unlimited VCAST option. Sure it would be a premium over the price of VCAST as it currently stands. But this unlimited premium would let you download any games, ringtones, wallpapers, etc that you want. (to your phone).

However I am not sure it will be available anytime soon.

I think that would be an awesome idea from a customer viewpoint. From a corporate viewpoint, it would be pretty cool if you could cap it, like $30.00 gives you unlimited VCAST, mobile web, in pix/txt, 2 or 3 subcription games and couple ringtones and ringback tones... you get the idea

Oh what a question!
I'd like more txt & pix packages.

I'd actually like to see the ability to have more than 5 lines share on an account without having to go to a business account, and/or a smaller share plan than 700 minutes again.

Several people I know would love it if you could have a phone number from the east coast and west coast share minutes on the same account rather than have the country all divided up.

The ability to block an incoming number would be awsome, but I've been told that's a technology-based setback.

I'd like more phones to be able to be used as a modem, and be at least given the choice for it to use airtime again instead of having to pay for an extra data feature that I may or may not use.

I'd l...

I'd like to create a "pirate server" for Vcast. Something I could upload, like Anime Music Videos, or complete episodes of stuff (Futurama, Family Guy, assorted anime series) I know I can encode stuff to my 815, but 512mb is not that much space. I can only fit like 3hrs worth of content without overcompamising on pic/sound quality. not to mention the space I need to keep open for my MIDI's and mp3's

I wish Verizon would loosen their upgrade policy, I wish they had 7pm nights and weekends, rollover would be nice, lower price for thier broadband services, bring back the 59.99 share plan, stop cripling their phones, that is about it. Verizon is great don't get me wrong, but if they addressed some of those issues and added some of that stuff they would be completely untouchable.

Haw Dog, I don't think they'll come and get ya...at least not until your asleep :~).
However I must reply by saying first which ever Carrier works best for them, Great ! It's just I was with Alltel about 5-7 years ago and adveraged 3-5 droped calls a week. Now I relize that was some time ago and allot has changed with reception quality with all carriers. I just must mention, Myself who Fly's for the State of AZ. DPS / Highway Patrol, Ive used my LG vx8100 as well as most of their phones that I've had at one time or another up their latest RAZR and being all over the State at all Altitudes, I can honestly say that I have not lost ONE call in the 5 years with vzw. We have records we must keep on file for our friends at the FCC and th...

Free V-Cast subsciptions! Games, music, premium videos, ringtones etc. sold on a per download basis. Standard videos advertiser supported. I think this would actually bring in much more revenue to Verizon as anyone with a EVDO phone could purchase premium content and advertisers would love the huge pool of potential viewers for the free vids.
