upgrading

od my samsung 650 just broke i have full insurance and me and my bill for my family plan comes out to about $500 a month between text messaging insurance and all that and we go well over our 3500 minutes each month. i was wondering if mabey a verizon rep would let me upgrade my phone when i return it without needing to renew my two year contract.

also if anyone is selling a verizon phone email me at lax5football77@yahoo.com i would perfer if you send pictures info hours on the phone and any glitchis.

If it's actual physical damage, you are most likely going to be directed to file an insurance claim. This would probably come out to be the cheapest route, and it does not change your contract. To qualify for an early upgrade, you have to be on a high enough price plan and be at least a year into your current contract. That said, to take advantage of upgrading at the promotional pricing, you would have to sign a new agreement. Otherwise, you would pay full retail for a phone. You can definitely buy a phone on ebay or from someone you know. but just be careful because I've seen people buy them from ebay or where ever and they are still active on another account or reported stolen.
