Don't Park by Verizon Store

My local Verizon store has a booster in the store to make it look like the 4G service is great. If you park a car that has keyless entry and start close to the store, the booster will interfere with the fob and your car will not start. You have to push your car away from the building to get it to start. The employees act like they know nothing about it. More deception by the BS company!!!!!

Thats very interesting... maybe I have some sort of different type of keyless entry for my car.. as my VZ store has a booster too, cause our 4G service isnt that great(Montana, what do you expect lol)... But I have certainly never needed to push my car away from the store lol... and yes I park close to the store most days..

Veeeerrry interesting 🙄

Hey, all companies have its faults. Its the natural division between doing well for the shareholders and the consumers.

However, insinuating that a company is doing something to interfere with customers ignition systems is a stretch

Agreed. I didn't mean to co-sign that idea. I just find it amusing that people think businesses should give profits away. I know I wouldn't.

One of the complaints about the 700 MHz spectrum auction was that some older wireless microphones, and other types of short-range radios used some of the same spectrum for operation.

When did you have the keyless entry system put in your car? I'll wager it was more than 10 years ago, but I've been wrong before.

The newer car systems should have better filtering to prevent things like that from happening.
