It all comes down to one thing. COVERAGE! Do you want your phone to work regardless of price? Then you go with Verizon. If its cheap price and not so good coverage go with T-Mobile. Get all the coverage maps from all the providers and lay them out side by side. You will see that VZW is the best.

In so many words or less, use whatever carrier works best where you use it. Sprint & Cingular have 7PM nights, but service for any carrier may be questionable depending on where you are using it, let alone which phone(s) you are using.

Myself, I have Cingular (Orange) and the former ATTWS TDMA. Before this I had Verizon, but when I needed a new phone I switched to Cingular which so far hasn't disappointed with coverage where I use it.

Try the carrier of your choice within the no-regrets window which varies by carrier. If you are going to port your current number, don't do it until you are positive you'll be staying with the new carrier you finally settle on.

P.S., I would have stayed with Verizon, but their phone selection sucked then, and it sucks now.

I was with t-mobile and i liked them but there coverage was not that great. i travel alot and t-mobile wasnt cutting it, so I switched to verizon wireless with the motorola v710 and I love it. If you do go with sprint or verizon make sure you get a dual band trimode phone, or if you go with t-mobile or cingular get a tri band phone. Cingular and verizon are the best carriers to go with, but verizon is the best.

If you can wait till end of month, there is talk that verizon is coming out with 7 nights and weekends, rumor has it by end of month, but, it is a rumor as of now.

Hopefully they do it, as they are about the only ones not doing it right now. If they dont do it, make sure you email them and let them know that you are one of the customers that went elsewhere because they did not offer 7 night and weekends.
