Guys, I am leaving the wireless industry soon, so will be switching carriers to either AT&T or Verizon (my current company I work for isn't an option, and the free service is barely worth it).
What has been the best Android phone for you guys so far? Anything on the horizon? I will be switching towards the end of August or early September, but would hold off for a little bit to get the next best thing.

Thunderbolt or Bionic.
Best there is currently.

What's wrong with the
Droid Charge?
...
Thats the one the wife really liked when we went and looked. She loves the samsung screens (has a vibrant right now).
I wish you guys had a dual core HTC phone...
...
Me too. Verizon's LTE network is bkazzzing fast but the browser/processor can't load web pages as fast as it should be able to. Considering Vzn's network is well capable of 15/20mbps.
...
Jay, i've mentioned this several time under different names. Dual Core processors don't make the phone any faster, but helps the phone multi task.
I've given you links, i've explained the process.
I don't know what else to do. Web pages don't load up any quicker on the Droid 3 than they do on the Incredible 2.
...
Actually, in theory and practice in a perfect world they will load faster on a dual core than a single core, since the browser can have a greater amount of dedicated CPU power (whether a full core, or partial) there is more CPU power to go around for the multi-tasking on all ends, which means more CPU power available for the front running process as well.
Now, the real reason sites load just as fast is because the CPU isn't the bottle neck. Neither is the network at 1ishMbps and over. The real bottle neck is the websites server itself, and how much bandwidth made available per user, plus how quickly it responds. Most websites only allow individual users a maximum of 1Mbps, and many are dynamic depending on the page's size.

Do you know much about wifi routers? My apartments have wifi where I live, but this POS router literally needs to be reset at least 3 times a week!!! Sometimes more. Do you know any tricks or methods to get it to be more reliable and not need to be reset so damn often? Pleeeeease help! Verrry frustrating.

Could be several things; interference (your neighbors WiFi, and any electronics, especially TVs), a bad WiFi router or WiFi receiver in the computer, or incompatible router computer combo.
Interference is most likely... you can use the software that came with the router to do a scan for what band has the least interference. Then make that the default band, or better yet, the only band. You can do this with your computer too, set its WiFi to only run on a certain WiFi band, but this can be problematic if your WiFi is dynamically searching for the best band, and switches off that band.
You could have faulty equipment too, likely an over heating WiFi router if this is the case.
Lastly, depending on age, etc. of the computer, it might...

Its the same as a Fascinate with LTE and a better screen.
I'd rather the charge have more RAM tbh.

Except that there's nothing "current" on the Bionic.
...
I disagree. Battery life on the Thunderbolt is sub par. The Samsung Droid Charge is a better choice IMHO.

Huh? This has nothing to do with my comment about the Bionic not being current.
And from my own experience with the Thunderbolt, which I've had for months, I made a few tweaks in the settings and I get through each day from 7AM to 11PM just fine.

Yeah, lazy post on my part. Its coming, everybody knows its coming and its spec's are amazing.
...
What is coming? The Galaxy II or the HTC Sensation like? I would really prefer HTC with dual core snapdragon....
...
Moto Bionic.
I haven't heard anything about those two phones hitting verizon.
That doesn't mean that they wont. Just that i havent ran across any rumors yet.
...
The Moto Bionic? Eh... I don't get what the big deal with it is, personally... by the time it hits, it will be 6 months old.
...
I love the phone a lot. It has a huge screen, feels solid in the hand, and it has a dual core processor. Honestly, with Verizon there are several amazing Droids out right now that are worthy investments. I used to be an Apple fan (I still like the iPhone) but Droid does better, lol.
:-) Let us know which one you get and how you like it!
...
I play with other models all the time and they are all great in their own way. I settled on Motorola for the signal strength, but I have picked up some LTE capable Androids in the Verizon store and I think they are pretty cool phones! Hooray for Android!
...
To be honest, not a big fan of Motorola... has a pretty weak (at least from what I have seen) development community, and I don't like the motoblur crap they do.
Do get good reception, though, and do a good job, just no my cup of tea.
...
No problem! Have you looked into the high end LG phones or the HTC high end devices? They are fantastic too.
...
What do you thonk of the Samsung Droid Charge? That's what I have. Git mine 2.5 months ago.
...
I think it's a beautiful device! The AMOLED screen is just popping with color. Samsung has a nice user interface as well. How do you like the phone?
...
No major complaonts. I love LTE, and it's nice to have a smartphone where I'm not constantly getting low memory warnings like I did with the LG Ally.
