Developers not focus on Thunderbolt

Ever since the TB was release there has yet to be an app that can be compatible with the TB. First of all the My Verizon. why havent they released a fix for this. This should be the main app that all Verizon phones should be able to use. Next is other apps being release that only are made for certain phones at start. The TB has never been on the list at first. Just other phones. I believe they failed on this phone at launch which is one reason Verizon is now saying the Samsung is the first Droid phone to take on the 4G LTE. the TB is a droid phone too. Its a great phone, phone they just need to push out these updates and get the ball rolling.

The Thunderbolt isn't a DROID, and never has been. Only certain phones get the DROID name on them, and in the case of 4G LTE, the only phone in the DROID lineup is the DROID Charge.

I'm not disagreeing with you on the phone needing to be kept at the forefront of app development and updating, but your argument and/or conspiracy is entirely incorrect. The phone has NEVER been called a DROID.

Hey epik, not to change the subject, but I'll change the subject...I haven't been on in awhile, how has the sale of iPhones been going for Verizon? Did anyone ever hear from Scott Herman again....? My daughter just got one (coming from the original Moto Droid) and she absolutely LOVES the battery life. She routinely gets 4 days on one charge (I couldn't go 5 hours with my droid). That and the camera seem to be the ultimate selling points for the iPhone. Has the offering finally shut up the masses or does the average Verizon customer just not care? I know I don't....still rocking the berry.

That mgs could have been a direct message to his inbox instead of in the forum.

Or a new thread, since I'm sure others might like to hear my response.

Not to nit-pick, but the Thunderbolt is not a Droid. It is an Android phone, but not a Droid.

Android is Google's smartphone platform.

Droid is a Verizon brand that they use for some of their Android phones.
