Can someone please tell me how to restrict numbers on a VX3100. I have a phone for my kid that I only want them to be able to call 5 numbers total, and of course 911 for emergencies. Can anyone please help me?

If they are all in your local area though, you could always call customer service and request for them to restrict your phone to call only in your home area.

You could also choose to have your phone either accept incoming calls only, or place outgoing calls only.

Can't restrict the phonebook on the 3100, as far as I know. Try either a Motorola handset like a T720/730 or a Kyocera handset like the 2325. The phonebooks on those phones can be locked.

You can't limit the calls on a Verizon cellphone to a select list. While it's a good idea, there's just no system set up to handle it. You've got to remember, the wireless industry took a lot of it's cues from the existing landline industry.
