Brand new to the Verizon side as I am currently an AT&T customer but not for long. Here's my situation and needs. Wife and I will share minutes but need good basic phones that are known for having good reception as this will be our long distance. Would like full qwerty keyboard for texting. Pretty simple needs I know but that's about it. Don't need internet and no data plans need apply. Thanks for your ideas. 😁 Glad to have finally seen the light!!!

I really liked the keyboard on my blackberry bold when I was with AT&T. Back then I didn't need a data plan but Verizon might require one. Not sure.

What I have just recently learned...If I were to somehow stay with at&t, I'd have to buy an unlocked phone, and those can get expensive. Saw a phone in the Verizon store, the cosmos touch. Know anything about that phone? I noticed it got a 4.4 here. Thank you.

If I wanted a smart phone, buying an unlocked phone would help me avoid automatic data charges if I didn't want to have it. IF, IF, IF I were to stay with AT&T. Also found out my ETF is $125, which unfortunately I don't have due to my wife being out of work for 6+ months and me being a firefighter who doesn't make a whole bunch when there is 2 kids. Did I answer your question alright?
