I honestly have no experience with BT headsets that have caller ID. But I did use both the HS820 and HS850 from Motorola when I had my v710 and I use the 850 with my business cell phone now (RAZR). I absolutely love the 850. The voice quality is just as good as being on the actual phone, and it does a good job of filtering out background noise (or so the people I am on the phone with say).

In my own opinion, Motorola headsets yield the best voice quality and call quality of any that I have used.

He's right.

The motorola branded bluetooth headsets are incredible.

Now whats the point of having a bluetooth headset with caller ID? You would have to take the earpiece off your ear to see the ID THEN put it back in.

At least thats what I think it would be like. Can anyone confirm?

Just use ringer caller-ID or glance quickly at your phone.

I can see the point to a caller ID headset. But you would have to be a user of the HS810 or HS850 from Motorola to see that point. With those 2 headsets, you can auto answer your phone simply by flipping open the boom mic on the headset. Due to that, you do not have to constantly wear your headset. So, in that instance, it would be nice to have the caller ID on the headset. But I will NOT sacrifice the quality of my Motorola headsets simply to have caller ID incorporated into the headset.

Hello, I'm new to this service but I just picked up an LGvx8100 from Verizon and I need a Bluetooth headset. Any suggestions? I did the standard CNET review thing but nothing seems to be the perfect set or in the case of the Jabra BT800,it's not compatable. Any advice would be appreciated.
