Verizon Iphone
This is just a question, I am neither for or against AT&T or Verizon. The only reason I ask is because of all the complaints that consumers currently have with the iPhone running on AT&T's network.

A few people will jump ship at first but eventually the "cool" factor is going to wear off the same way it did with the Razr. I think the Android platform is really going to trump the i-Phone in the near future.
Bottom line is...Verizon has a much better coverage map but ATT 3G coverage smokes Verizon in speed terms. If it were to come out on the current tech of CDMA then it would slow as molasses not to mention that you wont get to talk/surf.
All of THEM!!! It will be the best Network in the world with the best IPHONE in the world!
Verizon has more coverage. But ATT is definitely faster if you can get a strong signal. Problem is getting that signal....

I agree, there has been so much hype and BS stuff going around about Verizon getting the iPhone that when it does come to Verizon y'all better hope to god its on Verizon's LTE network not on the current model...But I agree with Chris on this one, with all of the other smart phones Verizon is getting I dont even want the damn Iphone anymore. God Bless Verizon if they do get it.

That's not going to happen. The load will get distributed between both 3G networks on both carriers based on market principles. It would effectively be just like adding 40 MHz of 3G spectrum to the AT&T network all at once. If AT&T could flip a switch in New York and San Francisco and double their 3G bandwidth, all their problems will go away.
With a CDMA iPhone in the pot, that's effectively what will happen (within 60 days).
I look at it this way what will verizon have at the end of the year that's so compelling that ppl will pass on the IPHONE? The N1 or Incredible is just a pacifier until the real deal hits. Prepare for glory! 😉

Maybe but I think you might be under estimating the power of the IPHONE, and just how many people still want the phone. Verizon still pawning with the lowest churn, and the verizon faithful have been faithfully waiting.

Me personally I love the idea of the Iphone coming to verizon, will it happen maybe...Will it work like the ATT version? Or will Verizon lock that down? No one knows for sure what the if's and's but's have to say, after all that article got people talking a...

I do agree with others that Android is the way to go and in the coming years, the iphone will move from the lime light like other's have.
My problem with Apple is... It's the same ****. The Ipod is the same **** as the 900 others that have came out in various shape's, color's sizes, generations, and memory. Nothing changes.. Nothing really that much cooler that makes you say, I WANT THAT!
The Iphone is the same ****.. 3gs wasnt anything dramatically different that the 3g imo.
The Ipod touch is nothing but an Iphone stripped of its network.
So is this a positive or a negative?

I have said from day one that anyone who really wants an iPhone, but doesn't want at&t, should simply buy an iPod Touch. I think they are all equipped with WiFi, meaning the main function for which such a device is purchased will work-- for free I might add. Let's face it, we live in a world where we all own multiple gadgets anyway; what's one more?
I agree that all ipod touches are the same. In retrospect there is no diff between the 2nd generation touch and the 3rd generation of the touch say with the exception of the newer OS that you'd have to buy had you bought the 2nd generation. Apple is out to make money like any company
