Is the W755 that bad?????
I will start off with I have 2 phones a personal (startac) and a business phone (E815). I have had a few other business phones, nextel, LG, but I personally have had the best luck with these 2 phones that happen to be Moto's.
The startac is about dead, will not hold a charge for more than 3-4 minutes of calling. I have ordered countless batteries on ebay, and the issue seems to be with the phone.
I like the W755 because you can use the speaker phone with the phone closed, loud ringer, loud earpiece, These along with Reception are most important to me. I only send or receive maybe 3-5 texts a month on this phone. No data, just calls.
Every thing I read about the 755 is terrible, especially the battery. But it still rates a 4.19 here ...

It's a good quality phone. I am an LG guy but your audio and speakerphone reasons are a valid reason for going the route of a 755. Another option is the Casio Boulder II - a tough, durable phone with a great external speaker. I have one for my PTT device and love it.

yup you can't go wrong with the Boulder..my ear piece is so loud and clear it amazes everyone i show it to. Can't wait for the ROCK!

If you are a Moto person and know the quirks, go for the W755. It's a great phone for call quality, reception, etc. It locks up occasionally but that's just Motorola. It is more durable and will hold up better than the basic LGs. Who said it was "that bad"? 😕
