I am going to make my own cell phone news and rumors site and I surely won't delete peoples post's this is America and I surely like my freedom even though we surely don't have much of it left!! This website has a TOS and considering what they let go here you must have been a pretty big jerk yourself to get your post deleted.

Have you used Howard Forums? They're a lot worse than this site when it comes to name calling & getting offtopic. They may or may not delete the comment, but they'll likely ban you if you call people names (especially the moderators, Moderator9 in peticular). Depending on the offense to be banned, it could be a few days, a week, a few weeks, or permanent. Some users have to create new accounts just to access the site again. But they'll place a permanent ban on new accounts to people they banned before when they find out. Just something to think about.

Howard forums moderates their boards so well, that you don't get away with anything over there. I got a 3 day ban for what they called, bypassing the swear filter.

Its called MySpace or Facebook. This is a forum dedicated to cell phones and wireless carriers. Calling people "jerks" does nothing to enhance or enrich anyones knowledge of cell phones or assist them in any way. When you sign up you choose to agree to the terms and conditions of this site - if you don't like the terms, don't sign up. Its that simple.
If you want a social networking site where you can can spout off to people to your hearts content, there are plenty available. They also, more than likely, have tons of lovely people like yourself to engage in your mindless name calling.

If you are on someone else's property (digital or in reality) you follow their rules. Freedom of speech does not exist there. it is not supposed to exist there. The only "freedom" you are granted is that they cannot harm you for speaking your mind. you can be banned, you can be kicked out, you can be mocked, because it is their property so it is their rules.

-do what I do most of my time on here: use this site for what it's meant to be: a useful tool to help you navigate the world of wireless. I just bought a Blackberry Curve (which I LOVE!!!!) and I did it AFTER reading all of the reviews and specs on the device here on Phonescoop!
-Don't call names (tho I admit, I call names more than I should.) If people post something stupid or get under your skin, take it with good humor, and reply with a sarcastic yet creative post that doesn't attack the individual. I don't think you are being fair to the person! I kinda see where they are coming from but I can't say I agree 100% ! I think one of the rules is don't be a jerk and I get that but don't attack someone personally I kinda find that to be hypocritical to the rules it's like saying one person has to obey and the others don't!! There's nothing wrong with speaking your mind but there are too many trolls on this bitch. I posted a topic on Sprint forum about 2 new phones that are not evdo capable and I stated my reasons for leaving Sprint. The trolls took it as me bashing and I don't do that. I don't hate Sprint but Verizon offers services/features that Sprint doesn't have yet so I decided to switch. Some idiot typed up a stupid response attempting to insult me and he failed miserably. It depends on the nature of the question.
If someone is making the third "verizon iphone?" thread of the day, or if they are posting on the carriers site about getting out of the ETF, or getting more for free, etc., they shouldn't expect a positive response.
