Verizon CEO Says 4G IPhone Could Be on Verizon Soon!!!
Mr. Seidenberg also addressed the notion of Apple Inc.'s iPhone ever coming to the Verizon Wireless network, saying it is more likely that Apple would be willing to work with the carrier under the fourth-generation, or 4G, network, which follows the same technology standard as AT&T Inc.'s 4G plans."

I would rather have my curve any day than the storm or the i-phone ! I have had both and really have to say the best one is the curve I would even take a pearl over the iphone !!
Touch Screen phones kill the battery way to quick which is crazy !
USA Today cites "people familiar with the situation" that say the goal is to have the Verizon iPhone model ready to launch next year. As best as anyone outside of Apple and AT&T know, the exclusive contract that AT&T has with Apple does expire some time next year, though some believe that AT&T is looking to extend that deal to 2011

Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg took advantage of a recent chat with the Wall Street Journal to talk a bit about Apple. Seidenberg said that Apple never wanted to make a version of the iPhone for Verizon's CDMA network, since it wouldn't be able to be as widely distributed as the GSM-based models it eventually produced. Uh, yeah, Ivan, thanks for joining the rest of us over here in the nation of Duh.

a: full flash support is a bloated, slow, bandwidth munching, insecure pig
b: "mobile" flash is garbage.
I am certain they were hoping to work with Adobe to make their mobile flash better, but Adobe seems incapable or uninterested, and so Apple has worked with most of the important websites to develop alternatives to flash.
a straight cross-compile of Flash for the ARM/iPhone platform has already been done, and it sucked so bad Apple refused to allow it on the phone.
Apple is not the problem here, Adobe is.
Once they allow that, I would consider an iphone. But for now, Its all berry baby!
