I don't think they will lay people off the way Sprint and ATT are, but I gotta believe they will definitely be downsizing at least a little bit with Circuit City closing

I wouldn't. It's happened before. They just don't hire new people for a while - they shift extras to permanent positions instead of spending all that money on new hires.

This I've heard is true. The extra positions though are not always the same type of job and may not be the ideal for the employee impacted and some are viewed as demotions. In todays economy I'm sure they are thankful to be working but I dunno how their morale may be. I'd imagine it's hard emotionally.
