Now about the PN 820 phone:
I know many of you said this phone is awful but you know, I really like it. My biggest complaint was the thin battery it drained so fast. But I just got my extended battery in the mail and wow that sucker lasts!!!
The phone did not come with Mobile AIM, but I downloaded it to my PC and synced my phone to my PC and just copied and pasted the application to my phone, which is so cool!
I really love how good the screen is, the colors are excel...

Try filling out the survey at verizonwirelesssurvey.com. Verizon subscribed to the Net Promoter Score (NPS) philosophy in the last year, and this actually goes a long way toward improving service or coverage. If it lets you take it, simply state that extra coverage is needed in that location.
Alternately, you can file a complaint with customer care. Some of the newer people might not know how to do it, but it's possible. I wish they had something that worked so directly in the retail stores. When I worked retail I had made friends with the local network technician in our area, and would let him know about coverage issues when I ran into them. He'd pass it on to the rig...

if you want to add a tower to your area. you have to qualify for it and they will never call you if they're not going to add anything, only if you do. so don't expect a call back letting you know if they were able to do it or not bec you'll be waiting forever.
You're upset that I mentioned calling customer care. I spent more time talking about that because it needed more explanation. I can only assume you picked up on this because it was a longer and more involved paragraph.
I get to hear about $7 phone calls to customer care almost daily, so I know all too well how much customer care would prefer taking less phone calls. But customer care reps who don't spend much time in a retail store really don't understand that retail stores do not have the same resources and tools at their disposal.
