I currently have the MOTO Z9 with AT&T and am looking at porting over to Verizon and get the LG EnV2. So my question is, is this a good idea? What other phones would you recommend?

I'm going to be switching from AT&T to Verizon in February. I know what my reasons are, but I'm currious to hear why others are doing it.

BTW, I'm looking at the EnV2 also.

What are your reasons for the switch and choosing that phone aswell? My whole fam has verizon and we all do alot of traveling and they always seem to have perfect reception when I dont. Plus Im a huge texter and I like their plan choices.

My main reason is coverage. I have been in multiple situations where I could not make a call (no network coverage) but people on other networks could. That, plus the numerous service outages we've experienced lately have done it for me. The main reason I went to AT&T in the first place was a heafty discount through my employer. I just found out that I can get the same discount on Verizon now so I'm switching back.

I like the EnV2 because all I really do currently is make calls. My son is on with me as a Family Share plan and he will want the texting plan. I figure if I'm getting it for him, I might as well do it too. I haven't texted much up to this point, but I do see an advantage to it sometimes. Anyhow, the EnV2 seems like a solid phone for calls and texting. I'm not worried about accessing the web or email so I don't need a BlackBerry or Smartphone (or the higher-priced plans that those require). Who knows..I can't switch until February so there might even be a different phone out by then that I like even more. But if I had to choose today, it would be the EnV2.

the env2 is a great phone, but not too pocket friendly. i mean it will pocket dial more then others. the ok button in the middle is the most protruding on the phone, so on a flat surface, if you push the phone down twice its unlocked. get a case or holster and it should be fine.

overall a great phone, great cam and great for texting, although some bigger male cust. says its a lil cramped.

hope this helps

I currently have AT&T, and may have to go back to Verizon because of the situation where I'm getting a promotion at work, and I'll have to move in oder to get that promotion and where I'm moving AT&T's coverage isn't at strong as I'd like it to be, when i went there to look for apartments there was alot of places where I didn't get service. I personally love AT&T, and really can't stand Verizon, so I'm looking for a way around switching to Verizon(although my company I work for said they'd pay for it, since I'm moving because of the company). I'm going to see if Sprint's available in that area, if so thats the company I will be switching to.

I don't want to go to Verizon but if I have to, I'll get a Maroon EnV2. Is that too girly? lol...

LOL..nah, I don't think it's girly. It's a dark enough maroon for a guy to pull it off without looking fruity.

Quite honestly youd be happy with any phone from LG, however it all depends what kind of features your looking for. I really liked LG but since I've tried a blackberry I've found that it does more than a conventional phone.

Moving from AT&T (Cingular) is a win win cituation for you.
