Oh man, this is hilarious. I wonder if Beach, Eraser, and Joe are gonna cry now. 😁

We heard you poor souls loud and clear -- hoping, begging, praying for a CDMA Curve announcement during CES. Apparently, said device is on the way. According to non-blurry (gasp!) pictures over at BBGeeks, the CDMA Curve is rockin' a 8330 model number, integrated GPS, built-in camera and a temporary sticker on the back warning that what you're looking at is absolutely not for sale under any circumstances. Excited? You should be, now hit up the read link and take a peek.

Who cares. Verizon always gets GSM leftovers long after they are old news.

Oh yeah GPS? Not unless you BUY Verizon Navigator.
Pa the piper for the toys boys. I'll stick with my FREE non network based Nokia GPS. And my FREE file transfers, and my 2000 minutes this month for $39
yeah Roll over is alive and well.

Don't feel bad.
ATT doesn't have any worthy phones either.
At least one can buy one though and use it on the network.

I do. Because as wireless matures the phone call will be the least used feature and I don't want to pay for every little transfer or for GPS, and b able to use whatever phone technology I choose without branding or crippling.

You bet I buy the phone then choose the network.

They will be even further with 4g. Due to LTE still bieng devolped. And 4g the tech will be the same for att and verizon. If you choose the phone then the network you are truly retarded. I am sorry but you are. Why because everything you siad is not relitve until the time wireless matures your point is not valid. You don't get it. I don't NEED fast ATT Data. The Phone has a real GPS receiver, WiFi is faster then 3G and available everywhere, When I do use the ATT data its fast enough for my needs, which is just Gmail usually and it does that automatically.

IF I did not have WiFi I would have a 3G phone. I would rather have the ability to put a 32GB card in the phone then have 3G,

Don't know. Not an Apple fan. Apple and Verizon are the same. Control everything and charge too much for nothing.

Yeah I have a full featured phone on a 550 minute 2 phone family plan with 2000 roll over minutes in the bank. Yeah I don't use the phone feature all that much. Some people need to understand this before making a phone decision.Especially if they are expecting to use it as if it were a stand alone GPS unit.

Many phones do not have "real" GPS capability.
Don't you have to buy Verizon Navigator to use their GPS? ATT has some addtional charges as well. Which means the GPS is most likely not using a SiRF III GPS receiver. But a scheme that uses cell towers for fixes and wireless network data,

Which further means you HAVE to be able to get a network signal to use it and pay an additional monthly charge. Which makes having that brand of GPS far less capable then a stand alone GPS unit.

ATT has the same "fake" GPS in many of their phones, I would caution those who want real GPS to ensure it c...

I cannot speak for all ATT phones. I can only speak for the phone I use which is not an ATT branded phone. My phone has real satellite GPS. You buy Garmin or TomTom software and get all the maps with them The SW can use the embedded GPS reciever or Assisted (cell tower) ot BOTH. You can also use Nokia maps or google maps. But I believe those use A-GPS.
