Can the Opera web browser be downloaded to the Q9M? If so, what are the advantages over IE? Is it faster? Thanks.

As far as I know, no thrid party applications are allowed on Verizon phones. The Q9m is a smartphone, so it might be differnt for it. But I doubt it.
Opera Mini is an awesome application. And yes, it is faster

I loaded Opera onto my Q and it totally froze the phone. I had to do a hard reset. Of course, this phone allows many 3rd party applications, but this particular did not work for me. Maybe because I loaded it on the memory card, but I am fearful to try it again. I think there is a newer version of Opera now, but I did not see a whole lot of advantages over the browser already on my Q.
