music volume tooo loud

using the headphones from the music essentials kit (that plug into the data/charger port) the volume of music is painfully loud even at the lowest volume setting.

none of my other headphones use a 2.5mm plug, so I can't use them and see if the headphone jack is quieter, besides, I would like to be able to use the headset feature of the music essentials headphones.

is there some way to adjust the volume range so that I can use these headphones without going deaf?

my friend just got a musiq and it came with this adapter you plug into the 2.5mm out and it has a 3.5mm jack on it that you can plug regualar headphones into...and it has a little volume control on the device...this is the only way to regulate how loud it is. I would try and pick one up on eBay or something. Its from LG.

so you're telling me that I paid 100 for a phone, and 49 bucks for a music essentials kit that includes headphones for something that can't be made to play music quietly enough not to cause pain?

honestly, I would be less surprised to find it couldn't play loud enough to be heard in a noisy room, I've never encountered a system that you couldn't turn the volume down on.

You can turn it down using the side volume keys on the side of your phone
