I got my LG VX7000 last month, and I was checking around all the data kits that can help me to manage my cell phone. The only thing I am looking for is something that comes with MORE FEATURE and with reasonable price!
The one I found out from Radio Shack called Futur dialer, this one just does not satisfy my needs at all, and I found aother kind in BestBuy, this thing cost me more than US$60 bucks with LESS FEATURE?
And the data kit that is selling in Verizon stores only have 2 functions with the price of US$ 40...I was so disappointed in that time...but..
finally I find one thing that can satisfy my needs with reasonable price...this cellular manager from Mobile Action, the part number is MA-8022 if I am not wrong, with the price of US$...

Whats are all these other features that you are speaking of? What else do you need mobile office kit to do, transfer phone book and allow phone to be used as modem?

No kidding. On second look, this smacks of a sales pitch. He's right about one thing, though - RadioShack's FutureDial sucks.

Lol. I like the stereotypical hippie on the opening splash. Based on the original posters' somewhat bizarre grasp of the English language, and his tendency to scramble tenses & possessives in his writing, I'd say the original poster was Asian, and trying to shill his product to us.

Oy.

I like Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools. I've been using V2.0 for a while, and it's a good setup. I hear 3.0 should be a good bit better. I've used Nokia's PC Suite, too, and that's pretty good.

Also the use of "US$ " gives it away......Who would put that about an American product if it wasn't from outside the country.

well, got this another set from New York though...as long as the price is reasonable, product features are good, and the quality is good.. that's the most important thing I care since I work hard for myself.

A. picture uploading and downloading (since I have a camera phone!)
B. Ringtone composing/editing/changing instruments (I am tired of those original ringtone)
C. File transfer in between PC and cell phone, for example: JAVA games in my cellular and the new JAVA game I get from the Internet (but the memory in the cell phone is just not big enough)
D. calander Sync. with my notebook computer.
E. Reasonable price. ( Verizon's kit, 2 features cost me 39 bucks plus Tax.., I got this one from NYC, called handset manage, part number is ma-8022 if I remember it right, and it only 29 bucks plus tax, comes with 5 or 6 features!
my friend got a sanyo one (ma-851 something, number I dont remember), holly cow! it also chages the phone from her note...

hey dude, I don't know where you are at, but I had seen the handset manage data kit in New York, Texas, California, Pennsylvania...etc. The one I saw in Pennsylvania was in the international airport. I've also seen the data kits in Las vegas during my last visit with my families.
maybe you can send a mail to this company and ask for "where to buy"? the company's web is www.mobileaction.com
This kit is really awesome..just better than any other kits I've ever seen and tried previously! You gotta try it yourself then you'll believe! Cheaper price with more features! Really a nice product!
