I talk to customer service yesterday and they said that 3 new phones are coming out in March. I know one of them is already on their website, but does anyone else know what the other 2 phones are going to be? I get to upgrade my phone at the end of this month, does anyone have a good sugestion on which phone, pda, blackberry I should get?

well the u620 is kinda lame and outdated...and vx9400 is allegedly buggy as hell...I'm not very impressed...plus, whats the point of getting offered one of the phones if you can't even watch TV in your area?

500-600 dollars is too much to pay for a phone, and that is even with the two year contract. How ridiculous. You can buy something similar for much less, the only difference being the "coolness" factor. And It was probably best Verizon did not take the Iphone deal, it sounds like Apple is being quite greedy in its deal, and wants to control every aspect of the deal. The only reason Cingular took the deal was because they need it to compete with Verizon.

Ok, for the "cost" argument... the Treo's are just as rediculously priced as the iPhone...

The Treo's aren't anywhere near that. A customer that is New Every 2 elig can get a 700p or 700wx for as little as $200 and as much as $300. So if less then half the cost of the iPhone is 'ridiculous' what would you suggest?

Im not talking about NE2...

New customers for VZW will be buying a Treo for $499.99.

A New customer of Cingy will pay the same for an iPhone.

See what Im trying to say?

Actually Verizon's most expensive Treo is $399.99 with a $100 dollar mail in rebate bringing the price to $299. That is $200 dollars cheaper than the least expensive iphone. This is off Verizon's website. I'm not sure how much it is in the store.

For anyone trying to justify the Iphone's price by what the Treo costs, just remember, even if they were the same price, the Treo offer's more practical features. The Iphone is a cool-looking phone that is also an Ipod. The buck stops there. It has no PDA functions, and it is not even 3G. IMO, the Treo is worth more.

Jumping carriers for a phone makes you a tool. Especially for something stupid like the iPhone. They should change the name the company AT&Toolbox for all the idiots jumping for the iphone.

lmao, I very true. I don't blame AT&T for carrying this phone, infact, it should bring some good sales for people who run out for the "cool" factor, without considering the price and actual practical features of the phone. But, I do agree that it is pretty idiotic to go to a company for a particular phone, but that's just me.
