Is any GSM phone compatible w/ TracFone/Net10 simply by changing the SIM card, or is it proprietary?

😕 I read one response to a post here that seemed to indicate that TracFone (incl. Net10?) GSM phones weren't compatible/interchangeable with any GSM phone or service simply by switching the SIM card, contrary to what N1 Wireless (a GSM phone, SIM card & supplier & phone unlocker) indicated. This is something to remember when considering Net10 (a division of TracFone). As I commented earlier in another post, their Customer Service Sux the Big 10"! That is the reason I didn't want a locked phone from them. 👿 So I told them to take the remainder of my minutes & lube them really well... after the disaster w/ charging the wrong account, taking many months...
