I heard that all cellular one phones are unlocked and are just loaded with browser and mms settings? Is this true? Can anyone shed some light?

They are direct from the manufacturer with no real branding on them. When they are shipped to the stores, they are preloaded with WAP/MMS settings most of the time. There are some that escape the shop without settings in them, though.

So technically i can put the wap/mms settings in any unlocked phone, put my sim in and its fine?Ive done that and sometimes I cant get the text messages to go through. Where can I get an updated list of the wap/mms/and browser settings? Ive been using my own razr settings from cell one.
