If I were to get an LG Glimmer off like eBay or something, would I be able to use it?

yes, just ask the seller for the ESN so you can call customer service and ask if you could add it to your account. That way they aren't trying to sell you equipment that is tied to an account, ie suspension, terminated. Hope this helps!

When you get the Serial Number of the phone, I can't stress enough calling customer service. Not just to make sure the phone isn't reported as stolen/missing (in which the phone will be confiscated), but they should be able to check if it's an official US Cellular phone. If it doesn't have actual USCellular software loaded into it, you won't be able to use the phone.

(yes, even if it's "unlocked" or whatever. USCC does not run unlocked phones...)

yep, USCC does NOT activate phones from other carriers, must be original USCC equipment.
