is some type of iPhone competitor supposed to come out besides the glimmer? Maybe like a Samsung or LG thing like the prada or armani?

I just want some answers here. I don't work for US Cellular, and each time I call them, I get different answers from different people. I don't think THAT is very good. If you don't have anything to help me get some information, please do not post in this thread. So please, enlighten me, when are YOU coming out with things?

Apparently you are not aware as to how US Cellular releases its phones. Let me summarize it for you.

We decide to add a phone to lineup after making sure there would be a call for it, then we do the most extensive testing of any cell phone carrier to make sure that you are not going to have problems with your phone, then we have our own associates test the phones in the field, then we have identified problems fixed, even a week before launch we could drop the phone from even possibly coming out or push it back. So if you want to know exactly when and exactly what is coming out, you obviously don't care about your user experience. as a customer i believe that I have the right to know what phones you are looking at so i know whether to wait until it comes out or switch.

agreed the lg 260 for us cellular is riddled with problems.. testing must not be as good as reported. constant resets and freezes, its terrible. The sprint version is flawless and it was released first...too bad I hate sprint...

i think that was completely wrong and obnoxious on your part. i do agree that other carriers charge you outrageous amounts for fees and bills, but at the same time at least they have fun phones. we pay a lot for our service so i feel we should know what phones are coming out or what is up and coming. i don't quite understand how verizon can come out with the chocolate, venus, and vogayer and us still has nothing like that for that matter. i know they are different carriers and competitors but still. if you put your phones through such extensive tests please tell me why i had the razr2 and now the lg ux565 and have had problems with both phones! they both freeze and shut off! the phones have not been dropped or damaged at all. i make sure i t...

You should be FIRED for making comments to customers like you have in this post and others before. Just because someone asks a valid question doesn't give you the right to get your underwear in a knot and yell at them.

Phone releases are not some huge secret that the whole world must wait on. You are correct any information that is posted on here might not be exactly correct. 99% of phones that enter testing get approved. Name one that has not passed testing in the last 3 years? you can't because there is only one (LG6800) (not released because of purchasing issue not technical)

I agree 100% with knox, USCCINDIANA get off your pedestal and realize that you work for a mediocre cell phone company. If US Cellular expects to keep their customers they need to provide us with phones that the CUSTOMERS want and if there is anyone who knows the "Top Secret" info. on new releases TELL US ALL ABOUT THEM!! Get a life and stop trying to patrol the forums because people can say whatever the hell they want and you don't need to be on other peoples backs about this. At last, I hope US Cellular DOES indeed get some good phones for this year...Nokia's N series would be nice, but a stretch for USCC..I hope they've finally noticed that they lag a lot behind their competitors.

The iphone has been recalled and I know probably 20 different people that have had problems with the iphone. There are touch screen phones coming out...but the iphone has had many problems and apple is regreting only signing w/ ATT for such a long agreement when they could have done well with ATT and many other providers

Why doesn't USCC make some phones exclusively theirs? like the Glyde, but thats gone...

does anyone know if any new phones are coming out by us cellular? i had verizon in december and i got the lg voyager. of course someone stole it and verizon never added the insurance to the phone even though in the store they said they did and i had a receipt. so i left them cuz they wanted me to buy a new phone. forget that. now i am with us cellular whom i should have stayed with in the first place. but now i am without my awesome voyager that i fell in love with. does anyone have any insider information if they are getting any cool new phones soon?!
