Im going to be traveling to mexico somtime and would like to know if us cellular will work down in mexico?

It all depends where. They do not have towers in Mexico so they cannot guarantee service. I can tell you it does not work in Cancun. Good luck.

I can tell you not to take your phone. Connection costs are five dollars a day. That doesn't include the per minute rate that they don't know what it would be. If you have to take your phone put it in airplane mode. When I was in Jamaica I recieved charges and I never talked on my phone. They said that the charges occured because my phone would connect to a tower to update the clock and such. Utter BS as far as I am concerned.
