so what is everyone's opinion on the SoHo? I have a friend who wants a cheap flip phone; however, I haven't gotten any feedback from customers on this phone and of course I want to sell her a good phone. If you've heard anything, good or bad, let me know! Thanks in advance

OK, I've had my Soho for about 5 days, and these are my observations after that time:

PROS:

Phone seems pretty sturdy, especially the hinge. Keypad gives good tactile feedback.

Excellent call quality, for both the user and the called party. I made several calls with "zero" bars of signal and they still went through and were clear as a bell. The speakerphone is quite good. RF appears good, based on my one-day jaunt along a country road with weak signals.

I've seen it and don't care for it. The V262 sounds like a better bet in the clamshell no camera format.

This has been a pretty stable handset so far. I have not had any of my agent locations take any returns.

I've had mine a couple of weeks. So far it's been a nice phone.

I bought it to replace my ultra-POS Moto C343. (Screen freezes up a lot on the moto; and it was my second one. Moto had to replace the first one because the screen just quit working.)

I didn't see the need for a phone, since I am too cheap to pay for picture messaging and EasyEdge (US Cellular) anyway. If all you want a phone for is to talk and send text messages, this will be exactly what you need.

Haven't found anything I don't like about it yet!
