so i checked out the faq and it says that these phones were picked because of their design blah blah blah. if my current phone is on that list, would metro be able to jus activate their service onto my phone?

i really dont feel like shelling out another 300 bucks plus the 175 to cancel my contract...

Unfortuantly only those phones that have a metro pcs PRL will work on the metro pcs network, no metro pcs store has the equipment to manually update the prl for non metro phones and the ota prl update wont work on a phone that doesnt initially have a metro prl to begin with.

The only real way to find out if your phone is capable of working on metro is to just dial *228, if you get a welcome to metro pcs message it will work, if it says something else or nothing at all, its not going to work.
