Which bluetooth headset(s) are compatible with sprint phones? All I've seen at the sprint store is the ugly plantronics headset and there are none listed on the website. Can anyone recommend a nice
headset please? Why sell bluetooth capable phones and not list any accessories to go with them?

I use jabra. I recommend the BT500. It's slim with good battery life. I've had the jabra BT210 for years now and still love it.

Bluetrek has some good ones out that we sell at our accessory stand. People love it and the talk time is 10+ hours for an affordable price. We order them and they go for all brands and cell carriers. I've even used it with the jabra adapter with my 7400(getting the a940 next week) and i have had no issues. Good reliable BT headset for a good price, we go for 89.95 for the 10 hour talk time headset and 119.95 for the 13 hour set.

I recently purchased a brand new Blue Motorola H700 on eBay for around $40 and haven't had any issues with it making/receiving calls on my Samsung A920. I've used various Bluetooth headsets from Nokia, Jabra, Plantronics and Sony Ericsson.
They pretty much all performed about the same for me. I like the Motorola H700 the best of them all as it's the most compact and light headset I've found.
Theoretically, the optimal connection of a Bluetooth headset and handset would be where both were made by the same manufacturer i.e. Samsung WEP270, WKT150 or WEP200 and Samsung A920.
One thing I hope people understand about Bluetooth technology is that, like an other wireless technology/device, you may still experience static periodically with a B...

in fact, please EXPECT static. BT is basically radio waves.

i dont know about the whole matching brans thing, tho. as long as they have the correct BT profile, everything should be fine. BT is a standard, after all.

It may be a standard, but real world performance between different devices can be drastic -- I have 3 diff bluetooth phones and each headset I have sounds very different with each different phone. My favorite headset (a Sony Ericsson) works really well with 2/3 of them; echoes horribly for the listener on the other one. ๐Ÿคจ

My advice is -- if you are looking for a headset, make sure when you read reviews that you find a review written by someone using t...

I have had the WEP 200 BT from Samsung for about a month now with my a900 and its the best BT EVER!!!!! People cant even tell that I'm using a headset! And when I tell them they are very surprised. On top of all that its comfy lightweight and I forget I'm wearing it. Highly recommended, especially if you have a Samsung phone. (seems to be optimal with the Samsung phones.)
