Couldn't get away huh? Oh yea, don't count on getting all of your commission check, half of it gets taxed 🙄
...
That's because Sprint taxes your commission as a "bonus" as opposed to "earned income." Those hters! 🤣
What I did (in case anyone cares) is I claimed higher on my W4 (tax withholding thing) and had less taken out of my regular pay so when I get raped by commission taxes, it doesn't hurt as much. When you get your next commission check from Sprint, you will see that they do not take such as insurance of additional W4 withholding that you opted for (extra cash taken out just because) because they cannot withhold items such as that on bonus checks.
I claim 5 on my W4, and still had 40% of my commission checks withheld. I got back all of my taxes back at the end of the year. However, I also got Earned Income Credit and a Childcare Tax Credit because of my daughter. So it wi...
