I have an older Samsung phone and Back in December, my wife got a Nokia. I noticed that she can Text message me, but, I need to go online to actually read them... DOH... Our "new" contract started in December, and I'm wondering, if I get a new phone, activate it (hmmm, do I get free activation on a new phone), and renew my contract so I can get the rebate. Will SMS Text Messaging be free? I have only played with her phone a few times as far as text messaging... But, it looks fun...

Thanks!
Bill

1. Instant rebate w/depend on if you live in a National or Affiliate market.
2. SMS is .10/per message.
$5 for 100 messages
$10 for Unlimited
w/Vision Pack 100 is included
w/Vision Pack Unlimited is $5

Newer phones that have SMS don't have to go on the web to send messages. Older phones must use the web and Short Mail.

I wouldn't buy that Nokia. The saying you get what you pay for. Spend some cash dude and get a Sanyo phone. Sanyo hands down is most reliable, best RF signal, etc.
