Is there anywhere that documents the differences btwn PRLs as they are updated??? I've seen snippets of what was new in 10021, but I'd like to know the whole history of changes btwn versions.

There are documents available, but only if you work for SPrint. PRL's(Preferred Roaming List) are periodally updated when new towers are added, new roaming agreements w/other carriers are added or changed, fixes, glithes etc. Most of time, it won't make a difference to the majority of us, just certain markets. Just get your PRL updated about every 3 months to be sure.

With VZW you have to manually do a PRL update every 3months. While like w/ Sprint is automatically done for you. VZW may have a claim for the largest network. But, as far as advanced technology of there network is way behind.

Just a little heads up for how Sprint works. Unless you have a special phone I am not familiar with then you are just wrong. Sprint phones have to be manually updated with the new PRL's also, by calling techinical support, requesting it then having it attached to their account. Its not the easiest thing in the world, but it doesn't just occur automatically. I have customers regularly stop in my store 6 or 7 updates behind. Don't take offense to the comments, I'm just trying to give you a heads up as to how Sprint works compared to Verizon.

I agree, I remember when we had to ask Claire for the PRL update.

Although VZW is coming out with an automatic PRL update when doing price plan changes in the Chicago and Michigan areas right now...as for updating new eqp you would still need to update manually but switching from a local to americas choice calling plan it should take care of it automatically in those situations...
