I love how they say $200 on contract is a bit steep... when it's arguably going to be the best phone out - without also adding in the 4G.
$200 on contract is no more than the Droid on contract... and certainly not more than the $300 3GS on contract.

I'm glad the price is reasonable. I was worried they would hike it up like the TouchPro2 and the $300.00 after-MIR price that it kept for nearly a year after release.

that phone is already going to be dated by the time it comes out. verizon got an hdmi unit with 1080p in the works. sprint selection is really lacking! I guess they don't have the customers verizon has, but geez you guys really need a decent phone.

It sure is but how long is it going to take sprint to get one little decent phone out to its customers. i mean i realize the cdma customer base is LESS than t-mobile now but still you have some customers left. but I'm not surprised hell they have not released 2.1 yet to seriously dated phones. I predict the evo will just be another flop for sprint just like the palm pre, sprint wont market it and they will just expect everyone to come running from other carriers to get it, but they wont. i know sprint has their pants down giving away plans for cheap still no customers want them. strange but at least the customers they have can run around here screaming i have a cheap plan tho.

Sprint's churn is less every quarter, so ppl are getting the message. Second most ppl won't just break their contract to leave especially for 4 or 5 lines...as ppls contracts end and they are price shopping and reading reviews common sense will hit them. And we get lots of descent phones but just to humor your completely lacking of any facts post..June 4th is the EVO.
